we are not that mean

we might not be meant
to express the meaning
of this unarticulated
spillage from the heart

but that does not make it
meaningless;
we mean what we can;
and we mean it
— we give it meaning —
by the actions we take
or leave behind.
This is our meaning:
the choices we are
determined to splurge

to do
is much
much better than just
knowing
to know is just the shell
from which only the action
fruits from.
